Uno Prii

Born on February 28, 1924 in Estonia, Uno Prii studied at Tartu Treffner's High School. He moved to Tallinn in 1939 and graduated from Tallinn Reaalkool in 1943.

In 1943 Prii went to Finland where he joined the Finnish Marines. In 1944 he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where, in 1946, he married Silvia Kikas. He graduated from the Technical Institute in Stockholm, and in 1950 immigrated to Toronto, Canada. In 1955 he graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Architecture, Cum Laude.

In 1957 Prii established his own architectural firm, where he worked until he retired in 1985. Prii is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects, the Royal Institute of Architects of Canada, the Estonian Architects in Canada, the Toronto Society of Architects, the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, and the Society of Estonian Artists in Toronto (EKKT).

Sündinud 28. veebr. 1924 Eestis.

Oppis Tartus Treffneri Gümnaasiumis.

1939 kolis Tallinna.

Lõpetas Reaalkooli 1943.

1943 läks Soome ja Soome mereväkke.

1944 läks Rootsi, Stockholmi.

1946 abiellus Silvia Kikas"ega.

Lõpetas Stockholmi Tehnikainstituudi.

1950 emigreerus Kanadasse, Torontosse.

1955 lõpetas Toronto Ulikooli arhitektuuri fakulteedi cum laude.

1957 asutas oma arhitektifirma.

1985 läks erru.
